Mr. Weatherly says that he was seventeen years old before he appeared in print, but when he was asked, fifty years after, what was his last song, he replied that his last song had not yet been written. Mr. Weatherly has written many songs about old and young. His old folks are not tired or weary people, but full of wisdom and kindliness. Tonight his programme is a reproduction of a very old one, and he says it is only an incident that all the words are by himself.
