A Farce in One Act by REECE EVANS
Performed by THE STATION REPERTORY
PLAYERS
Characters :
Mr. Turner Mrs. Turner
Miss Turner (Their Daughter)
Mrs. Benson (Their Elder Daughter, Mr. Benson (Her Husband) Master Eric Benson
THE Scene is laid in the Turners' dining-room on an afternoon in February. Mr. and Mrs.
Turner, dressed in their Sunday best, arc seated before the fire, while their daughter Bertha is busy putting the final touches to the decorations on the table, which is laid in a manner that suggests an important occasion. In the centre of the tea-table stands an imposing birthday cake. Kot a very startling setting for a play, you say ?—but listen, you may have a surprise.
