This Friday bulletin of advance information on walking, climbing, sailing, and angling, together with local weather forecasts affecting these activities, began last summer in a less comprehensive form. Tonight it is being revived under the editorship of Ian Wilson, a Glasgow journalist, and will have a considerably wider scope, covering Scotland from Speyside to Galloway at least. The Scottish Youth Hostels Association are co-operating in the supply of information for walkers and climbers, and the bulletin is intended to be of real service to those planning holidays lasting a week-end or longer.
