A Jolly Day Jaunt to
A Holiday Haunt arranged by ARTHUR BLACK and GEORGE HARVEY and conducted by MOULTRIE KELSALL
The party includes
ARTHUR BLACK
W. M. CARNEGIE
BETTY CRAIG
MARY HALL
GEORGE HARVEY
IAIN HUNTER
ALAN MUNRO
Music will be provided by RUBY DUNCAN and BILL THOMSON at two pianos
This is an Aberdeen version of ' Doon the Watter ', though Aberdonians are so fortunately placed geographically that they do not need to take taxi, train, or boat to the holiday resort, and get there with spending a penny on the tramcar. The happy party on this occasion includes an outspoken grand-father of doubtful habits and a daughter's young man whose refainment of speech is only equalled by the nattyness of his suitings. Listeners can be sure of an amusing and varied three-quarters of an hour if they choose to join this Aberdeen family at the seaside and witness their efforts to spend sixpence like water.
