Mr. Ellingham has selected from old records several recordings made by famous people and on notable occasions that cover some of the important happenings between the years 1905-1916. Such distinguished people, for example, as the Earl of Oxford, Peary, Henry Ainley , Sir Ernest Shackleton , Conan Doyle , Sarah Bernhardt , and Pachmann will be included in the programme. Listeners will remember that Mr. Ellingham was responsible for the interesting programmes of gramophone records entitled ' As others sing them ' and ' Melba : a Musical Biography '.
