Repeated Tuesday, 11.15 a.m.
Produced bv Keith WILLIAMS and EILEEN CULLEN
Commander Clive's soiree in aid of his ' Island of Hope ' scheme was an unqualified success, and Miss Roberts, who was extremely interested in the idea. presented him with a cheque for £ 1,000. Meantime, while having tea with the Dales, Commander Clive has made a slip which creates some doubt about his truthfulness. This has upset Mrs. Freeman, who believed in him implicitly, and she has begun to be very worried about Miss Roberts' cheque.
