Flora Dale 's illness has continued, with some mysterious complications, and when she is overcome by gas in her bedroom at 29 Calverts, Dr. Robertson sends her to hospital. Grandfather Dale and Mrs. Freeman have moved into Glover's Cottage and Pillski is looking after the Dale's house. Grandfather Dale and Mrs. Cornish have been getting on rather well, and this has slightly irritated Mrs. Freeman. Flora has begun to improve.
