No man is a hero to his valet. Sometimes - in spite of actions and protestations - he isn't a hero even to his wife and children. Bart Chadwick longed passionately to become a hero... a particular kind of hero. As an actor, it was a part he had always wanted to play. In his heroics, he involved a young boy he had never seen. The stage was set to Bart Chadwick's specifications. He had written his own script. But was it a role to which he could do justice?.
