Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family

Gwen told Robin Cole that she could never be married to anyone but David; Robin saw David and told him he ought to try to get Gwen to go back to him. Janet took a job as trainee receptionist at the 'Sutherland.' Sally is to go on a business trip to Paris with Harvey Hichens' son, Harry. Vivien Kendrick was away from work saying her mother was ill, but when Mike went to see Mrs. Kendrick he found that she was all right. He asked Sally to help to look for Vivien and they found her in Hyde Park; she told Mike she couldn't marry him, but he said he would go on trying.
