Ivor asked Joanna to let him tell his parents about their engagement, and she agreed that he should. Ivor's parents came down to London and were horrified when they discovered that Ivor was engaged to Joanna. They refused to see her. Renee accidentally told Mrs. Morgan why Dotty borrowed the four pounds from her. Janet and Joanna moved into their flat.
