Judy Clarke , at twenty, is ' unattached, with no commitments.' Recently she has been seeking out members of the younger and the older generations to learn from their personal experience what it is that can make or mar courtship and marriage.
Among those whom she has interviewed are: A marriage guidance counsellor The head of a Marriage Bureau
A parson
A newspaper advice columnist
A distinguished Divorce Court Q.C.
A doctor and some of those who ' for better or worse ' are courting, engaged, newly-wed, bringing up a family, or looking back across many years to the first steps they took in search of a happy marriage

The story of George Grossmith is that of the actor-manager, equally successful in both these branches of the theatre. He set the fashion as the leading musical-comedy actor of his day. Before World War I he had made a name for himself in such shows as The Orchid and Our Miss Gibbs; and then in management with Edward Laurillard presented -amongst others- Tonight's the Night and A Night Out. Later on came the great successes at the Winter Garden-Solly and The Cabaret Girl both being tremendous hits. 'G.G.,' as he was known to all his friends, was a great man. The stage and the general public acknowledged him as a great impresario and his name will always live as somebody who loved and breathed ' theatre ' wherever he went. His daughter, Rosa Grossmith , will recall memories of her father during the programme.
