In May 1943 nineteen Lancasters, led by Guy Gibson , set off into rhe night, bound for Germany. In their bomb-bays they carried a new type of ' earthquake ' bomb designed by a British scientist after years of research. Their target was the Moehne and Eder dams. This is the story of that historic mission.
