The evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from Dunkirk in 1940 was one of the most remarkable operations of the last war and many stories are told about it. Now, for the first time, twelve people, a cross-section of the many who carried it through to its successful conclusion, come to the microphone to describe in their own words their recollection of the extraordinary individual experiences that went to make up the 'Miracle of Dunkirk.'
