Lennox Robinson speaks about
Edith Somerville the Irish writer who was born a hundred years ago-May 2, 1858
In collaboration with her cousin, Martin Ross, Edith Somerville wrote many novels of which ' The Experiences of an Irish R.M.' is the best known. Lennox Robinson says that its very popularity seems to have obscured the distinction of the more serious novels, particularly 'The Real Charlotte' and The Big House of Inver.'
