Pat delivers some netting to Dorothy, who is plagued by swarms of bugs on her lettuces. Meera tells her that she is expecting a special sari for the dance. The next morning the sari hasn't arrived. Dorothy gives Pat the golden netting as the holes are too big to keep out the bugs. Pat gives it to Meera to wear. 

Sarah is upset as her 'sari' is an old bath towel. Nisha finally persuades Meera to accept her help and the two girls perfect their dance routine. They leave for school as Pat delivers the new netting to Dorothy. His last bit of post is for Meera. He realises that it must be her sari and rushes to school. 

Meera has noticed that Sarah is upset and kindly lets her wear the gold netting sari. Pat arrives and gives Meera her own sari. The little girls perform their dance routine to cheers from the other kids and Pat.
