Introduced by John Cherrington.
Starting farming is difficult, and Ken Fuller began on a Wiltshire smallholding by saving every penny. Lord Emlyn has shown how land-lords could make it easier, to their own advantage. His West Farm, Castlemartin, has been offered for competitive tender through a Farmers' Weekly competition, and he is standing security for most of the working capital. He explains why, and John James, the present tenant, shows Leslie Williams round the farm.
