from St. George's Church Camberwell, London.
Preacher, The Vicar, The Rev. Eric James
Assistant curates, The Rev. Christopher Gonin and The Rev. John Latham

St. George's, Camberwell, has become widely known as it has tried to work out a pattern of worship and life appropriate to the working-class world of today. Here the Twentieth-Century Folk Mass was first produced. This morning's service reflects the ideas of what is called the 'Liturgical Movement', which has swept the Continent and which in England now is making the Holy Communion service once again the main service of many churches.

The stage and screen version of Guys and Dolls brought the world of Damon Runyon to millions. This film about the little waiter in a night dub and the glamorous singer whom he worships was written and produced by Runyon himself.
