One day among the circus audience Joey spots Alex Conrad who, years before, had worked with Corky's parents, the Flying Falcons, and had been their catcher at the time they fell to their death. Joey convinces Alex that he was not responsible for the accident and persuades him to return to circus life. But Corky finds out.
