Britain makes her most ambitious bid to put Indoor Athletics on the map with the new indoor track at the Empire Pool, Wembley.
Ron Bowden, Honorary Coach of the Amateur Athletic Association and the man who trains David Jones, is seen instructing a group of youngsters in the techniques needed for indoor sprinting and hurdling.
A number of Britain's leading athletes, including David Jones, British 100 metres record holder and Gold Medallist of the 1961 World Games at Helsinki, demonstrate their skill.
