Vast numbers of tiny bodies move round the Sun. When they enter the earth's air, they destroy themselves in the luminous streaks which we call "shooting stars." December is one of the best times for seeing these visitors from space. Patrick Moore tells you about them and shows how to plot their paths against the constellations. He also introduces the winner of the "Observation Diary" competition.
