Pageant of the Services
Over 7,000 National savings workers and delegates from all parts of Great Britain are attending tonight's rally at the Empress Hall, London, to inaugurate National Savings Week which begins next Saturday. The programme includes a grand pageant by men and women of the three Fighting Services

It is expected that the following events will be televised The Ceremony of Retreat by a Royal Navy detachment and the Band of the Royal Marines, Portsmouth Division Manoeuvre drill by women of the Royal Naval Service An evening scene behind the lines presented by the Choir of the 1st Battalion, Welsh Guards - Conductor, Mr. E. Jenkins Physical training display by W.R.A.C. from 46 (M) H.A.A. Reg. R.A.
