2/2. Chris Evans profiles rock group Genesis, who formed in 1967 as a straightforward band and then morphed into one of the more high-definition exponents of "progressive" rock in the 1970s. Since the 1975 departure of lead singer Peter Gabriel , the band have developed a poppier, more accessible sound. This edition looks at their eventual stadium-sized successes since Phil Collins took over as lead singer and the personnel changes that followed. Number-one LPs have included Duke (1980),
Abacab (1981), Invisible Touch (1986) and We Can't Dance (1991). Including input from Phil Collins , Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Daryl Stuermer ,
Chester Thompson and Ray Wilson.
