Bob Harris concludes the story of perhaps the most famous of all folk-rock acts and one whose supergroup status derived from the formidable pedigrees of its members - David Crosby (the Byrds), Graham Nash (the Hollies), and Stephen Stills and Neil Young (the Buffalo Springfield). This editon recalls the band's messy years of personal and professional peaks and troughs since the early 1980s, including Crosby's drug addiction and a catalogue of solo and collaborative projects, highlighted perhaps by a full-throttle 1999 reunion that resulted in the album Looking Forward and two huge and rapturously received stadium tours.
His guest is poet Ian McMillan.
