After almost 40 years, Peggy Seeger has returned to live in her native America.
Before leaving, she talked to Jim Lloyd about her music and her partnership with the late Ewan MacColl. In the first of five programmes. she recalls her early days in Washington, where her brother Pete found fame as a folk singer. House guests included Woody Guthrie, Huddie Ledbetter and Alan Lomax.
