Last week in Birmingham, country music followers from Britain honoured their favourite artists with the first national awards ceremony to be organised by all the UK's country magazines and associations. Among the awards was one for the Radio 2/Radio Times all-time favourite country star. American singer Marty Stuart flew in from
Nashville to host the event, and there was live music from Sarah Jory , the Stu
Page Band, the Down County Boys and Hogan's Heroes.
