In the last of the series Ian Campbell's guest is Malkit Singh, the young British bhangra star who has been described as India's answer to Michael Jackson. Bhangra has its roots in Punjabi folk music but has developed in Britain into a really popular sound which has now been exported back to India.

This week's guest is author and playwright Rukhsana Ahmad. After teaching English Literature in Karachi, Rukhsana moved to Britain in 1973. Since then she has written several plays which have toured the country, while her latest radio play is due on air next month. She has also translated, compiled and edited a collection of feminist Urdu poetry and her first novel is out next year.
