The BBC Concert Orchestra, leader Cynthia Fleming , conducted by Philip Ellis , perform extracts from
Khachaturian's Gayaneh Suite and are then joined by Piers Lane at the piano for Piano Concerto No 2 in F Major by Shostakovich. In the second half of the concert, the orchestra play Prokofiev's Cinderella.
