Last week the British Jazz
Awards were staged for the first time at the Pebble Mill studios. The British jazz fraternity gathered to recognise the talents of musicians, writers, arrangers and journalists, and Radio 2 recorded the proceedings. The winners played throughout the ceremony, providing a lively blend of speech and music. The presenters are Humphrey Lyttelton and Benny Green.
