ARTHUR SCHWARTZ has composed music for 18 Broadway shows, including The Band Wagon, Inside USA and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn; also ten Hollywood films, such as Thank Your Lucky Stars and That's Entertainment. Among the stars for whom he has written are Julie Andrews , Fred Astaire , Jack Buchanan , Bette Davis , Beatrice Lillie , Mary Martin and Ethel Merman. But Arthur Schwartz is far from being the model of a modem major songwriter - in fact he is one of the most unusual characters in the world of music. Introduced by Alan Dell Producer JOHN DYAS
