Over 200 crews representing 17 countries set off from Bath today at the start of the 1976 Lombard RAC Rally - four days and nights of gruelling driving that will take them through England, Scotland and Wales. and back to Bath for the final on Tuesday night.
The BBC Radio Sports team, who last year won the award for the best coverage of the rally, will again be following the event around the clock. Latest news of today's stages, as the cars head north towards
