Mrs. Dale has received a letter from Mrs. Segrue telling her to keep her hands off Mr. Segrue. Mrs. Rampling has given notice to Dr. Dale. Adam York has met an attractive computer-programmer, Jane Collison. Lois has been having treatment for severe postnatal depression. Neville's younger brother, Larry Jackson , has turned up unexpectedly in Exton in some kind of trouble.
