First to Lost: the Peter Frampton Hit File
First achieving public attention in the 60s group, The Herd. where he was probably most noticed for his baby-faced good looks, it was sheer guitar-playing ability which eventually established Peter Frampton as an impressive rock performer. Although his talent was to some extent realised in Humble Pie - a band whose line-up included Steve Marriott , formerly of the Small Faces - it was not until Frampton elected to go solo that his career flourished. With his hugely successful album, 'Frampton Comes Alive', which provided three hit singles Peter Frampton stormed his way into the US charts.
Today and each day this week you can hear a Frampton chart success.
