' I know there's a lot of people out in Radio 1 land who've either problems they want to talk about or serious views they want to air. These are the things we want to cover in the new Mailbag. But I want the show to be light-hearted, too, so I'd like to hear some funny letters. I hope we'll get a few jokes, misprints in papers, that sort of thing. If we deserve a bouquet, let me know, but if it's a cabbage we've earned, well, let's have it! '
