Edi Stark visits vicarages, rectories and manses throughout the country to talk to women married to the cloth about the pressures on a clergy wife to act as unpaid curate lead a holy life, and be devoted to her husband's calling. Wearing a nose stud is one way to counter the stereotype - another wife happily shops in Asda when her husband is preaching from the pulpit.
