Narrated by Edgar Lustgarten Written and produced by ALAN BURGESS
Of all the terrible Nazi stories to emerge from the Second World War, none is more dramatic than that of Adolf Eich mann. He. more than his twin overlords, Himmler and Heydrich, masterminded ' The Final Solution,' the Hitlerite doctrine which resulted in the murder of six million Jews. At the end of the War. like many other Nazi criminals, he ' disappeared.' He did not reckon, however, with the vengeance of the Israelis. How their agents traced him, abducted him from the Argentine, and flew him back to Israel to confront Jewish survivors from ghettos and concentration camps, created a trial as dramatic as any in history.
