'On being 100'
When Algernon Blackwood was eighty he recorded, instead of one of his famous strange stories, an autobiographical talk in which he looked forward confidently to his 100th birthday.
Had he lived, he would have been 100 this year. This is a repeat of the talk he gave twenty years ago.
