The life of playwright. beachcomber and - lobsterman Nick Darke , who recently met an untimely death, is explored in this poignant portrait. Atmospheric archive film shot by his father reveals how Darke practised the ancient pastime of "wrecking", as he combed Cornwall's rugged and beautiful north-coast shoreline for exotic sea beans, fishing paraphernalia and other items deposited on the beach.
