An Everyday Miracle

on BBC Two England

Narrated by DAVID ATTENBOROUGH
How do we spend the first nine months of our lives, before birth? Babies are born every day, yet for such a familiar event it's remarkable how little we know about what happens between conception and birth. But now doctors, using new techniques, have been able to see the development of a child inside the womb itself, and have revealed something more miraculous than most of us can imagine. This is an extended version of the film first shown to Schools in the series General Studies.
