As part of this year's BBC Music Live festival, this concert of French classical music, performed by the BBC
Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of their chief conductor Yan Pascal Tortelier , comes from a refurbished Leeds Town Hall. Featured works are the Faure Requiem with soprano Joan Rodgers , baritone Nathan Gunn and the BBC Singers, Poulenc's Organ Concerto with Wayne Marshall , and Messiaen's Les Offrandes Oubliées.
