No one knew how much Andy Warhol was worth when the iconic artist died in 1987, and a canny lawyer grabbed his 15 minutes of fame by immediately claiming two per cent of his estate - only to be taken to court in a trial that gripped New York. Warhol's bequest was to establish a foundation for the visual arts, but it's debatable whether his final legacy has been fulfilled as he would have wished.
