Christina Smith is one of Britain's least flamboyant millionaires, the owner of a large portfolio of property who set the trends for living in warehouses and establishing ethnic craft shops in the sixties. She has done much to try to prevent the destruction of central London's Covent Garden area by the developers, but now feels disturbed by the way of life that she helped to inspire.
