On Saturday Night Clyde this week: the 'Big Noise' of Glasgow's
International Children's Festival gives a chance to rediscover childish things, with a multi-media extravaganza for kids of all ages, including the 'Art Machine', a unique exhibition at the McLellan Gallery, featuring the largest ever gathering of art and design made specifically for children.
Plus Scottish poet-in-exile, Kenneth White , until recently a poet without honour in his own country, now undergoing a period of critical re-appraisal in his own land. There'll be image and imagination from Britain's leading TV graphics school, Duncan of Jordanston in Dundee, and an interview with Matt Forrest , one of its brightest graduates. Plus a film essay on the contradictions of Glasgow, the City of Culture, past and present, and a visit to Europe's largest reference library, the beautiful Mitchell Library in Glasgow.
