A remarkable story of Britain's smallest professional theatre
For two people as dedicated to the theatre as Barrie and Marianne Hesketh, the decision they took five years ago to go and live on the Isle of Mull might have seemed calculated to end their theatrical careers for good... Instead, in the thirty-four-seat converted cow-shed they call Mull Little Theatre they have found a new artist-freedom and have played Chekhov, Shaw, Strindberg, Ibsen, and Shakespeare to audiences totalling over two thousand by the end of last summer.
This film is the story of their enterprise and how they have adapted to their new surroundings.
