Times Remembered: John Pitman talks to Ruby Miller: Part 1

on BBC Two England

The Gaiety Theatre is no more, but Ruby Miller, at 82, is alive and well and living in Bognor Regis. She had more than 500 proposals - all of them decent. There was only one rule for the Gaiety Girls. 'You may accept flowers, chocolates, fruit; you may accept gloves, furs, jewels, houses, yachts... But never money.'
