Pomme, 18 years old, a hairdresser's apprentice in Paris, has never seen the sea. Persuaded into a holiday in Normandy by her man-hunting friend, Marylene, Pomme is soon left on her own - which is how she meets Francois and embarks on a holiday romance that is to change her life.
