The Great Mail Race
For one day each year the Baltic harbours of Grisslehamn and Storby are transformed. They're taken back to the days when the mail was transported by small open boats across hostile seas.
This annual event is known as the 'Postrodden'. Dressing in the style of the period and sailing in replica boats of the past, today's generation relives those times.
