The farmers' favourite returns with a new presenter, Robin Page. Top dog handlers from around the country compete for the BBC Television Trophy on the course at Buttermere, in the Lake District. Gus Dermony describes each run, drawing upon his own experiences as both a trial competitor and judge. The Scots are first on the field and the competitors are Alex Waugh with Cap, Jock Welsh with Craig and Alasdair Macrae with Nan.
