The World About Us: Goblins of the Forest

on BBC Two England

The second of three films from Heinz Sielmann narrated by David Attenborough

A red squirrel scampering through the trees is now a rare sight in Britain. In Germany it's not so: the big forests still have their quota of red squirrels and now Heinz Sielmann has patiently filmed their behaviour.
Squirrels, dormice, polecats, hedgehogs... all play their part in the forests, as Heinz Sielmann shows in this film.
