City of Coral
Beneath the blue Caribbean ocean lies a spectacular city. Its inhabitants have erected colourful and complex structures out of plankton and sunlight - it is a coral reef.
Here the line between plants and animals is blurred,
'rocks' move, eat and fight, fish become farmers and weak animals borrow the shields and weapons of stronger ones. There are amazing creatures which use ingenious camouflage for protection, and others which use it for attack. By day and night the bustle of the city continues unceasingly, as the hunters become the hunted, and the reef citizens reveal some unlikely solutions to the problem of survival.
