Isles of Scilly. Just 25 miles from Land's End there's a surprising sub-tropical paradise, the Isles of Scilly, some of Britain's most remote inhabited islands. Free from frost and famed for their flower industry, the islands' wildlife is a wonderful mix of the common and exotic. Set in the dramatic isolation of the Atlantic, they are home for wandering seabirds and a birthplace for grey seals.
